Video Editor

Independence Media, better known to Philadelphia as WYBE, is non-profit independent television station bringing the community an alternative media outlet for over 15 years. As we expand into digital broadcast, internet distribution and beyond we are also expanding our production department. Independence Media is seeking a full-time editor who can maintain a high level of innovation and creativity in a fast-paced, output oriented environment. This editor will work closely with the programming department and assist in studio and field productions as needed.

Editing and production experience is required. Candidate needs 3 years of experience with Final Cut Pro. Studio and Field shooting is a valuable asset.

Specific Responsibilities include:

Editing studio productions
Editing completed programs to shorter format
Training and overseeing Intern Editors
Studio Crew

Preferred Experience:

3-4 years production
Final Cut Pro expertise
Adobe Photoshop and After Effects expertise
