Web Design Internship


Put yourself in a creative and challenging web design experience. There is opportunity for a unique internship or volunteer positions at Independence Media | WYBE TV. Get hands on experience with a company that challenges you to be inventive in the presentation of multimedia and broadcast.

Learning Opportunities:

  • Engage in web based marketing and branding campaigns
  • Design as a team for animated and static web packages
  • Advance general design skills with innovative professionals
  • College credit available for undergraduates
Responsibilities include:
  • Daily website updates
  • Design web graphics (animated and static)
  • Assist in on-going critique of website effectiveness and usability
  • Researching, writing, and editing text for website
  • Design of e-flyers for newsletters and events

Experience Needed:

  • Dreamweaver
  • Photoshop
  • Flash is a plus
  • Basic Programming experience (PHP, Java, cgi-bin, database, etc…)

Hours Needed: Minimum 20 hours/week
