Department Internship
Get Hands-On experience
in TV production. Independence Media better know as WYBE TV, is looking
for experienced interns and volunteers to create programming for broadcast.
This is an opportunity unlike any other in the region. Participants
are part of a small production facility and integrate with the staff
to make actual television programs.
Editing experience is required.
- Training on
the all production services including:
- Pre-production planning, scheduling, booking, storyboarding and scripting
- Complete studio training for production in newly renovated control room and remodeled set and studio
- Supervised editing training on new Final Cut Pro post-production suites
- College credit available for undergraduate students
Responsibilities include:
- In-studio
assistance
- Camera, Audio, Floor direction, Technical direction, Lighting set-up, Teleprompter, Graphics, and more
- Field production
assistance
- Assist with preparing interview locations: lighting, camera equipment, and other duties when necessary.
- Logging footage
- Researching
innovative topics and ideas for future projects.
Hours Needed: Minimum 20 hours/week
