Engineering & IT Internship

If you are looking for a unique internship or volunteer experience in engineering and IT look no further than the cutting-edge of the television industry. Independence Media is better known to the Philadelphia region as WYBE TV. This innovative television station is looking for people who are trained in network maintenance and have a passion for expanding their horizons skill set to include broadcast technology. Applicants must have understanding of server and network setup, organizational skills, and an interest in multimedia. The abilities to be self-motivated and multitask are necessary components to this position.

Learning Opportunities:

Advance understanding Windows, Apple, servers and system networking
Digital media file creation, conversion, and compatibilities
College credit available for undergraduates

Responsibilities include:

Regular computer maintenance (software and hardware)
Desktop support
Assistance in server and SAN management
File archive maintenance
Studio and field equipment maintenance

Hours Needed: Minimum 20 hours/week
